We have had some lovely days so far this summer so lets hope they continue, so we can get the gardens looking their best. There are a few things to tell you about what is happening in the society. Cup holders from the Summer and Autumn Shows Please can I ask the winners of the cups from the Summer and Autumn shows to arrange to take them down to the hut or pass them onto Bob Warbouys by the beginning of July so that we can organise to get them engraved ready for this years shows. Garden Trail 18th July 2009 We have our bi-annual Garden Trail on the 18th July. It starts any time after 10.00am and finishes at about 4.00pm. The Trail starts at our house – 41 Upton Lane, where you can collect your Trail Guide. We have 11 gardens on the trail, all of which are beautiful and all very different. Some of them you may have visited before others are new to the trail. The cost is £1 per person and there is a quiz for you to do as you go round. Refreshments will be available to buy to help you on your way. We are having a plant sale in aid of Claire House Children’s Hospice and will deliver any plants locally that you cannot carry. I would like to give a huge thank you to all the members that have agreed to open their gardens for us as they are all working very hard to make their gardens look extra special. We just need to hope for good weather so everyone's hard work has been worth while. Grange Farm Visit 5th August We have arranged a visit to Grange Farm in Mickle Trafford on Wednesday 5th August.
